Merlot
Despite having a traditional home in Bordeaux, Merlot is now planted throughout almost every wine region. Identified by its ability to produce aromas such as black cherry, blackcurrant, and mint, this variety is often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon to produce subtle and velvety wines with soft tannins.
