Trebbiano
This is a very diverse grape and hosts a large range of white varieties, including Trebbiano Toscano (Ugni Blanc in France), Trebbiano di Soave (or Verdicchio), and Trebbiano Romagnolo. Wines using these varieties have a straw colouring with wildflower tastes, plus a soft, neutral palate. It is often used as a base wine in many Cognacs and Armagnacs in France.
